Trail Exploration Day

Please join us for Trail Exploration Day. This event features guided hikes and interactive programs in the forest. Hike topics include Forest Discovery, Sensory Awareness, Wildlife Habitats, Swamp Life, and Watershed Investigations. All hikes are one hour long and begin at the interpretive center.

Full Moon Hike
Summer 2012
Visit the FREC for the Full Moon Hike where interpretors lead a group under the full moon. On this easy hike, visitors will learn about Pinelands plant and wildlife species. Refreshments provided by the Jackson Pathfinders.

Fall Forestry Festival

The 17th annual Fall Forestry Festival features free crafts, autumn hayrides, interpretive programs, demonstrations, and environmental exhibits. Hikes depart from the interpretive center hourly.
