Community Stewardship Incentive Program (CSIP) Grant
What does the CSIP Grant fund?
The CSIP grant provides municipalities or counties with up to $25,000 to assist them in the implementation of forestry goals and objectives as stated in their five year community forestry management plan.
Who is eligible for the CSIP Grant?
Only municipalities and counties with Approved Status under the New Jersey Shade Tree and Community Forestry Assistance Act.
What is the match requirement for the CSIP Grant?
This grant is a cost-sharing grant that is evaluated by the New Jersey Community Forestry Council. The cost-share ratio is seventy-five percent grant to twenty-five percent match of cash or in-kind services.
When are the CSIP Grant applications available?
CSIP Grant applications are available annually in the Fall with an application deadline in the first week of December.
