2009 Swim Schedule

As the summer winds down, some parks may be opened for swimming on a modified schedule for the remainder of the season.
Swimming comes to a close on Labor Day, Monday, September 7.

Swimming is only permitted when lifeguards are on duty from 10 am to 6 pm.

Atsion Recreation Area (Wharton State Forest): Open daily Closed September 3 and 4.
Bass River State Forest: Open Daily Closed September 1 and 2.
Belleplain State Forest: Open Wednesday through Sunday. Closed August 31 and September 1.
Cheesequake State Park: Open daily
High Point State Park: Open daily
Hopatcong State Park: Closed August 31 through September 4. Will reopen for the Labor Day weekend; September 5 - 7.
Island Beach State Park: Open daily, including the weekend after Labor Day, September 12 and 13.
Parvin State Park: Open Daily
Ringwood State Park (Shepherd Lake): Closed August 31 through September 4. Will reopen for the Labor Day weekend; September 5 - 7.
Round Valley Recreation Area: Open weekends only beginning August 27.
Spruce Run Recreation Area: Open daily
Stokes State Forest: Closed August 31 through September 4. Will reopen for the Labor Day weekend; September 5 - 7.
Swartswood State Park:Open daily Closed September 3 and 4.
Wawayanda State Park: Open daily
